To My Beloved Family and Friends,
Matthew 7:13-14 “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.”
With God, there are only two paths, the way to heaven and the way to hell. These paths represent two ways that people live. Jesus described two gates, two ways, two destinations, and two groups of people. Many people, including Christians, think that both the narrow gate and the wide gate provide the entrance to a life with the Lord.
The broad way is the easy way. It is the popular way. This way does not demand a change in your lifestyle. You are free to live a worldly life that is contrary to God’s righteousness because of the majority belief.
The way of life is narrow, lonely, and costly. The Christian life is not easy on this earth. We are afflicted, troubled, and suffer tribulation. If you live a godly life, you will often walk the path of life alone. But it leads to life, to the only life worth living, to the life everlasting with the Savior. John 14:6, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” One day He will say to us – “servants well done.”
Have a blessed week,
